  • Do I need any other tools, like SharePoint, to store documents for my meetings?

    Meetings & Board Management, and the Governance platform has its own permission-based document library. This repository is secure and the organiser has total control over who sees what.

  • Can I search across previous meeting agendas, notes and actions?

    Yes, our powerful search facility will allow you to easily find your search term across previous meeting agendas, documents, notes and actions.

  • Can I mark up and annotate the meeting pack?

    Yes, we give you an intuitive toolbar that enables you to do everything you could with a paper pack. Mark up with a pen, highlighter and eraser, pin text notes to a report or share securely with other attendees.

  • Can I access the meeting papers offline?

    Yes. The Make Available Offline function means the meeting pack and all its contents is accessible without internet access. Using this rather than a PDF download allows for more functionality like sharing notes, annotating documents etc, and reduces the limitations of a downloaded PDF, for example version control. Enabling the Offline function means Attendees can access the meeting in the usual way, but make any notes etc prior to and during the meeting, then sync with the live version when they have internet access again.

  • How is access to Meetings & Board Management controlled?

    Access to Meetings & Board Management is controlled by a username and password, as well as Multi-Factor Authentication (unless the Organisation uses SSO). Each user's capabilities are further defined by the role they have in the system, as well as the Meetings and Resources they have been given access to.

  • Is the solution able to record and assign meeting actions?

    Yes, along with capturing ‘Decisions’, ‘Attendance’ and ‘Minutes’, you can capture Actions in seconds. Assign to an individual along with a due date and give all attendees visibility on its progress.

  • Can Meetings & Board Management Time be used to facilitate remote meetings?

    Yes. Our solution integrates seamlessly with popular webinar platforms such as Zoom and Microsoft Teams. You can create an online meeting link for the meeting within the solution to add to your meeting. 

  • Can users collaborate on meeting documents in preparation?

    Gone is the need to prepare documents in isolation for meetings. If users have a question to raise, they can do so in advance and responses can be shared among all attendees or just to meeting organisers. Attendees can annotate documents, raise queries and get fully up to speed before the meeting starts. Meeting attendees can also respond to formalities in advance so you can redirect the saved time towards higher priority items that warrant more in-depth discussion.

  • How can Meetings & Board Management improve decision making?

    At a glance, Board Members, Senior Leaders and all meeting attendees can see all of the important information on the topics for discussion, access relevant supporting documentation and see previous updates.     Yes, Meeting & Board Management can restrict users to a particular device if this is preferred by your organisation. However, the solution can be used on any device.

    -    Server Level - the data server is hosted in a secure environment. Both physical and logical security measures protect the server from unauthorised access.
    -    Device (client) Level - all clients communicate with the server over an encrypted (SSL / HTTPS) channel so that no one can read the data in transit.
    -    Document Level - The agenda information and associated documents are stored in a secure encrypted database.

  • What is OneAdvanced’s Governance platform?

    The Governance platform from OneAdvanced forms the foundations for our Governance & Risk Management solutions. No more separate board portals, risk registers and objectives software. OneAdvanced’s Governance platforms allows CEOs, Directors, Managers and Leaders across any organisation to manage everything in one place. The platform includes Meetings & Board Management as well as Risk Management, and when deployed together, an Objectives module.

  • Do I have to purchase the entire platform or can I mix and match the tools?

    To unlock the best value from the Governance platform, we advise that customers deploy the entire solution of Meetings & Board Management, Risk Management and the Objectives module. However, there is also the option of purchasing either solution singularly and expanding to include the other solution in time. 

  • Can I use the Objectives module with Meetings & Board Management?

    Yes, when deploying both Meetings & Board Management and Risk Management, the Objectives module is included on the platform. The Objectives module is modelled on the ‘Golden Thread’ of performance management framework to outline and prioritise your goals and objectives, these can then be linked to from your meetings, ensuring your discussions and decisions are inherently linked to your corporate objectives.
